Enrolment Process
Choosing the right school is a significant decision - and we understand that for many families, it's also a long-term one. At Elonera Montessori School, our Enrolments team supports families enrolling across Early Years, Primary, and High School, including those planning ahead. Our goal is to make the process clear, supportive, and transparent - so you can make confident decisions for your child, now and into the future.

Understanding the Enrolment Process
The enrolment process at Elonera Montessori School is designed to be straightforward and supportive. While some steps differ slightly depending on whether your child is enrolling in early years or the formal schooling years, the focus is always the same: getting to know your child and ensuring we can support them well. Our friendly and knowledgeable team is always available to answer any questions you may have and provide you with the information you need to make an informed decision.

If you have any questions during your enrolment with us, please email enrolments@ems.nsw.edu.au
1
Submit an Application Form
Submit the online Application to Enrol form. You will be required to pay a non-refundable $175 application fee to submit the form and provide additional documents, including birth certificate, school reports etc.
You can save and come back to your application at any time.

Please note: The successful lodgement of an enrolment application, with accompanying enrolment application fee, does not guarantee enrolment at Elonera Montessori School. Enrolment is subject to the enrolments process and the Enrolment Policy Terms and Conditions.
2
Meet with the Coordinator
The applicant and their parents/carers are invited to an interview. This is a two-way conversation - an opportunity to get to know each other and ask questions. This helps us identify possible needs, and allows for us to choose the best class for your child
3
Teacher Meet & Greet
You will have an opportunity to meet the teacher of your child's intended class. This allows for your child to see the classroom space, and learn more about the dynamic of that class space.
4
Trial Day
Your child can trial a normal school day in their intended classroom. This trial day helps to gauge your child's comfort in the space, ensuring they are in the correct learning environment
5
School's Decision
If, we believe your family is a great fit for Elonera Montessori School and pending our selection criteria, the next step is for us to send you a Letter of Offer via email with a link to complete the Enrolment Agreement/Contract.
A $300 placement fee is payable at this stage for NIDO and Long Day Care Programs and $1000 placement fee is payable for Kindergarten to Year 12 programs.
It's important that all biological parents or legal guardians sign the Enrolment Contract for legal requirements. If this is not possible, please arrange a confidential discussion with our School Community Liaison Officer.
6
Enrolment Acceptance
Once our Enrolments Team has received the completed Enrolment Agreement/Contract and the confirmation fee is paid, we will send you all the relevant information required for your child to have a smooth start at Elonera Montessori School.
Should a suitable vacancy arise, you will be contacted to discuss your child's application and may be invited for an interview. Priority is given to applications for siblings when one child or more is already enrolled at the School.
